My name is Marcello De Feo, and I am the person behind Comfy Jersey, a guide to the homes, neighborhoods, food, architecture, and local places that make South Jersey feel like home.

My background is a little unconventional. I’ve spent years working in technology, hospitality, journalism, design, and service. I earned a Dual B.A. in English and Fine Arts and am an MBA candidate at Boston University. My longstanding interests include writing, food, sports, architecture, design, Star Wars, and the way communities evolve. Over the years, I’ve owned restaurants, built brands, been published in major outlets, and developed an appreciation for the details that give a town its character.

Comfy Jersey brings all of those interests together. Here, I explore South Jersey towns and neighborhoods, homes, businesses, sports, and plenty of food along the way.

I’m also working toward a career in real estate, with the goal of helping people make informed decisions about where — and how — they want to live. Whether you’re looking for a great town, comparing neighborhoods, searching for a new home, or just trying to figure out where to eat this weekend, I hope Comfy Jersey makes South Jersey a little easier to explore.
